1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Great subs!!, June 23, 2011 By  Robert McDonald (Louisiana) - See all my reviews    This review is from: VVX-12D2 - Skar Audio 12" Dual 2 Ohm Subwoofer (Electronics) I purchased 3 of these sub's about 3 months ago. I have them installed in a sealed enclosure. Let me tell you, these subs sound great and beat hard. I melted a 3k amp pushing these. I currently have them connected to a Crescendo 3.5K amp and all I can say is WOW!!! Even my friends are blown away by how loud and great sounding these are. I can't imagine what they would sound like in a ported or t-line enclosure. Also, for a 12 inch sub, these things go really low. They are heavy and feel solid and well built. I am by no means an expert on subwoofers, but I have used a few and heard a few in my day and for the price, you cant get much better. update: In June, I bought a fouth sub, built a 17cu.ft t-line inclosure to house these. Man, it sounds great. Really full bass and loud. My ears hurt for several days after listening at 80% for more than a few minutes.
