AM-FM Receiver w/ DVD/MP3/USB (PD1000A) - Reviews
Pyle of crap, February 12, 2012 By JD (Texas, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: AM-FM Receiver w/ DVD/MP3/USB (PD1000A) - (Electronics) Bought this back in April of 2011. I didn't know anyone could make such a Pyle of crap. 3000 watts; more like 80 watts. My 100 watt, 15 year old Sony pushes my speakers louder, clearer and with a lot more bass. The speaker wiring terminals couldn't be made cheaper. The main reason I wanted this unit is for the USB input so I could play my MP3s from there, but it only recognizes the first file/ playlist and I can't select my other files. I tried to contact Pyle, but no response there. Instead of having one USB drive with numerous files/ playlist, I will have to have a USB drive for each playlist now. I have a $40 Wal-Mart stereo with a USB input in my vehicle and it allows me to select different files, so it's apparently not a difficult option.
Since this system lacks bass output, I bought a pair of Sony SA-W3000 powered subwoofers, but the subwoofer output volume control isn't for adjusting the level of bass to your music that works in conjunction with the main volume... Read more
